Darrell Thompson

This is Academy's 1/72 scale P-47D Bubbletop. Darrell  improved the kit by reshaping the pilots seat, adding photo-etched seat belts building a more accurate gunsight, drilling out the gun barrels, detailing the wing pylons and replacing the nav lights with clear sprue. He replaced the canopy with a Squadron vacform piece. The model is finished in three shades of Alclad II and Aeromasters decals.
